Press release: A160/A180 Port of Immingham Improvement Scheme: Overnight closures to take place on the A160 Humber Road

The eastbound carriageway of Humber Road between Habrough Road Roundabout and Eastfield Road, South Killingholme, will be closed overnight between 8pm to 6am on Wednesday 13 May.

The westbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm to 6am on Thursday 14 May.

Following each closure narrow lanes and a reduced 40mph speed limit will be put in place.

Diverted eastbound traffic for the Port of Immingham will stay on the A180 leaving at Stallingborough roundabout. From there drivers will follow the A1173 Kings Road and re-join the A180 at Stallingborough.

Westbound and eastbound traffic leaving the Port will follow the A1173 Manby road, the A1173 Kingsroad before rejoining the A180 at Stallingborough.

The new bridge will provide vehicle and pedestrian access between the two areas of South Killingholme.

The works are part of an improvement programme designed to provide better access to the port and the surrounding area.
