Press release: Planned roadworks in Bristol, Gloucestershire, Somerset, BANES, Wiltshire, West Dorset and Devon: Weekly summary for Monday 2 February - Sunday 8 February 2015


Bristol


M5 Junction 16: Pinch Point Improvement Scheme


Narrow lanes on northbound exit slip road will be in operation until mid April 2015.


M4 Junction18: Resurfacing


Eastbound closure will take place from 8pm Monday 2 February until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be via exit slip road then back on entry slip road.


Eastbound closure will take place from 8pm Friday 6 February until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be via exit slip road then back on entry slip road.


Full eastbound exit slip road closure will take place nightly from 9pm on Tuesday 3 February until 6am Fon riday 6 February.


Diversion will be clearly signposted.


M48 Junction 2: Resurfacing


The eastbound carriageway will be closed from 9.30am until 5pm on Thursday 5 Feb. Diversion will be via the entry and exit slip roads at Junction 2.


Gloucestershire


M5 Junction 11a – 12: Bridge repairs


Narrow lanes and 50 mph speed restrictions will be in place until April 2015.


M5 Junction 11 – 10: Bridge repairs


Narrow lanes and 50 mph speed restrictions will be in place until May 2015.


M5 Junction 10: Bridge repairs


Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restriction on the southbound carriageway will be in place until October 2015.


M5 Junction 14 – 15: Geotechnical works


Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restriction on the southbound carriageway will be in place until March 2015.


A40 Over Roundabout: Pinch Point Improvement Scheme


Narrows lanes will be in place and daytime lane closures will take place until end of March 2015.


Wiltshire


A36 Upton Lovell: Improvements


24 hour temporary traffic signals will be in operation until the mid February 2015.


Crockerton roundabout to Deptford: Improvements


The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight from Monday 2 February Friday 6 February from 8pm until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.


M4 Junction 17 – 18: Barrier installation


Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restriction on both carriageways will be in place until mid April 2015.


M4 Junction 16 – 17: Geotechnical works


Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restriction on the westbound carriageway will be in place until mid March 2015.


A303 Countess Roundabout to Parkhouse Junction: Resurfacing


The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight from Monday 2 February until Friday 6 February between 8pm and 6am the following morning.


Diversion will be clearly signposted.


A303 Countess Roundabout to Solstice Park: Resurfacing


The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight from Friday 6 February until Monday 9 February between 8pm and 6am the following morning.


Diversion will be clearly signposted.


North Somerset

M5 between Junction 23 – 24: Structures


Narrow lanes with a width restriction of 4.8 metres, contraflows and speed restrictions will be in place on the southbound carriageway until mid February 2015.


A303 Sparkford to Mere: Resurfacing


The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight until Saturday 24 February between 8pm and 6am the following morning.


Diversion will be clearly signposted.


BANES


No planned works


West Dorset


No planned works.


Devon (M5 only)


M5 between Junction 28 – 29: Barrier works


The hard shoulder and lane 1 will be temporarily closed at various locations until the end March 2015.


M5 Junction 27: Pinch Point Improvement scheme


The hard shoulder and lane 1 of the southbound exit slip road will be closed until end of March 2015.


M5 Junction 28 - 29: Barrier Improvements


The southbound exit slip road will be closed overnight from 8pm Sunday 1 February until 6am the following morning.


The northbound entry slip road will be closed overnight from 8pm on Tuesday 3 February until 6am the following morning.


Diversion will be clearly signposted.


Narrow lanes will be in operation in both directions until June 2015.
